In 1973, Tom Dugle founded Deltec to supply specialty sheet metal parts to local Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in need of a supplier who could provide the extra touch and care needed to produce their products. This allowed Deltec to work hand-in-hand with these companies on special projects, developing better methods to manufacture and improve the overall design and performance of the parts.
Now with 3rd generation Sheet Metal Fabricator Jason Dugle in charge, Deltec uses the same principles his grandfather instilled to work with his customers in the ever competitive laser fabrication marketplace. They take pride on taking the time to listen, learn and understand what their customers needs are.
Design- Recently one of Deltec’s customers had a need for castings but had a 12 week lead time. The problem was they were awarded the bid with a 6 week delivery. Out of options with the foundry, they contacted Deltec to see how they could help. Jason and his team were able to reverse-engineer the casting into sheet metal enclosure and delivered it within a week.
Adaptability- Unlike your standard Job-Shop, Deltec has the ability to take your project from Design to Prototyping and Production. Whether starting from scratch or refining an existing product, they can be there for you. From finishing, powder coating, machining, and welding, Deltec has the operations you need on hand to fit your project.
Quality- An OEM recently came to Deltec because their in house operation had issues with weldments failing quality audits and the material losing its appearance. This led to increased costs and missed deadlines to customers. Deltec’s engineering department was able to experiment with materials to help improve the performance of their weldment while the finishing department was able to provide an esthetically pleasing look needed for completion.
As you review the services and capabilities Deltec has to offer, you will see that the experienced staff, state of the art facility, and uncompromising commitment to customer satisfaction sets them apart. Whether you have a need for Custom Fabrication, Precision Weldments, or Custom Products, let Jason and his staff show you why they are a leading Laser Fabricator in the Midwest.

Does your current production output limit your ability to get new customers?
Are their aspects of your business that take you away from what you do best?
Do issues in design and engineering affect your ability to adapt to changes needed to your product?
Are their limits to the amount of inventory you can hold at one time?
These are some of the most common issues we hear from our customers and they all have to deal with thes 4 major issues: Turnaround, Distractions, Expertise, and Inventory.
Quick Turnaround- A large OEM once contacted Weigel & Associates because an issue arose where they were unable to produce enough parts to service both new machine sales and replacement parts. This led to long lead times and ultimately lost business and revenue. Weigel & Associates was able to help solve these needs by partnering with one of our principles to handle service and repair work to cut turnaround times by 70%.
Limited Distractions- Is there a certain area of your operations where you can do it good but not great? Maybe it takes longer or costs more than you would like? Does it take more than one try to get the part you need made correctly? Weigel & Associates was able to help a custom machine builder by providing machined plastic CAM’s, plates, and other parts the first time. In some cases this had taken the builder 2-3 times to get it right. This saved the customer money and gave a much needed peace of mind.
Gained Expertise- Do you need to increase performance of your current item but are unfamiliar with the materials and methods needed? Our team has the experience to provide the right production methods and material recommendations to help you in the engineering process. Our use of 3D drawings and quick trial runs allow for cost effective R&D to take your company to the next level.
Increased Inventory- Do cost cutting measures limit the amount of items you need to appropriately service your customers? Are their times where you do not have the maintenance part you need to keep your machine up and running? Our team of Principal’s can work with you to develop a plan to stock certain items in case of emergency.

Recently Clow Stamping Company was the recipient of 2 awards for their performance in 2014. At the 2015 Polaris Industries Supplier Conference, Clow was recognized for outstanding delivery performance. Clow also received a Silver Status Certificate of Achievement Award at the 2015 Arctic Cat Supplier Conference.
In addition, Clow has replaced its 1958 No.18-36 Blanchard with a new 22-42 Blanchard made by Bourn and Koch. The Blanchard grinder is used primarily in the tooling department for maintaining and sharpening the blanking and piercing tooling and prepping tooling plates during a new part number build. The Blanchard is also used on occasion by the machining department when a job requires a finish or flatness call out.
The Clow Stamping Company specializes in Short Run Metal Stampings. They serve a wide variety of industries such as Recreational, Light and Heavy Equipment, and Agriculture. Typical runs range from 100- 10,000+ pcs. Their in house tool department and quality control department allows them to produce the high quality parts you need at competitive prices.
