This month, we continue to spotlight one of our premier manufacturers, Newact Inc. out of Batavia, OH. From our column in February we wrote about their expertise and leadership in the field of Plastics Machining. In addition, Newact has been providing companies around the United States with Rubber Molded parts since 1987.
With over 50 years of experience in the design and manufacture of rubber molded components, Newact with their in-house tooling and design department will help assist in material selection and design of both the part and mold. They work with a wide variety of materials including Silicone, Urethane, EPDM, Butyl, Natural Rubber and more.
Their plant equipment consists of molding presses ranging from 50 tons thru 200 tons, roll grinder, stamping presses, extruder, complete tool and mold shop with 3-axis CAD/CAM capability. This allows Newact to control the manufacturing process in house to save on cost and produce parts with a quick turnaround.
